Little bro, Dustin

Day 7.
Today you'll hear from Dustin, your little bro. Blue Thunder. When I met Brandon and found out Brandon had a little bro that was my age... and I had a big sister Brandons age.. crazy right. But I wondered if they were super close like me and my big sis. After meeting Dustin, I quickly realized they were best friends. The stories of these two will seriously make your heart stop.. oh no not like ohh thats so sweet, mushy stories. But crazy, scary, can't believe these two boys are still in one piece kind of stories. Like the time they attached a bike to a golf cart by a long rope. Brandon was on the bike, when Dustin made a turn apparently the rope hit something and Brandon went flying off the bike in the air. Or the time Brandon got stuck in the trunk or hit in the head with a golf club or when Dustin went rolling down a hill in a van and was standing straight up with his hands on the ceiling of the van when his Mom found him. Jumping off the roof into the pool, while filling the pool up for summer sliding down the drop off in the pool for hours, fishing, exploring the canyon, swimming in puddles, endless sporting events... whatever it was these two were together. Brandon still looks forward to doing things with his little brother.
They were thick as thieves. I love that they are so different but so similar. Brandons a golfer, Dustin played football, Brandon is very planned and precise, Dustin is more free spirited... but both have a love for God and their family like none other.
Every time we are at a family get together which is often in this family, Brandon and Dustin find something to play with, hit a ball with, goof around with... sometimes I believe they think they are younger than they are ( :  But both are always down for a good time, both are adventurous, and  amazing men.
We love and look forward to so many more memories with Dustin and his own family... with baby Logan on the way! Love you Dustin.

Now for a few words from Dustin.

P-Dawg

Day 8
Today you'll hear from Piper... P-Dawg, P-Diddy, Pipie, Pipes, P. Your forever buddy. Brandon met Piper right after she turned 3 years old. Piper doesn't remember a time when Brandon wasn't around. Honestly I could go on all day long with the stories these two have and the memories of the three of us.. and now four of us with Kennedy. I still remember the very first time he met Piper, she just turned 3 years old and we took her to the aquarium. I have a picture of him holding her (below), they were buddies from that day on.

I love the story of when Piper was around 8 or 9 years old and she got a golf hat from Indian Springs country club. She knew Brandon was a phenomenal golfer and played in differnt tour tournaments. She came home asking for Brandon to sign her that. I asked why. Her repsonse "because he's Brandon Ullrich, famous golfer".. like Duh Lacey. So he did just that, signed her hat. When she went out to the club later wearing her infamous "Brandon Ullrich" hat someone asked her whose signature that was. She told them and when they said they didn't know who that was (they've should've ran away) she let them know exactly who Brandon Ullrich was and how awesome he is. After the conversation was over I am pretty sure that person will never ask who Brandon Ullrich is again. She honestly looked up to Brandon like this. They do things all the time without me, like total brother and sister. They argue like brother and sister too ( : And now that Piper is golfing, B has said multiple times he has a golf buddy finally.
Another funny little story is the time Piper and I were going somewhere with B, when he had a smaller car. B had to get out to get gas. While he was out of the car Piper and I decided it would super funny if we took off our stinky flats and wave our stinky feet in front of his air vents. Our feet stunk.. those flats are not pleasant. When Brandon got back in the car we locked the windows and trapped him in the stinky car. His face was pure horror. Piper and could not stop laughing.
Those things happened quite often. Brandon was a trooper for sure. Piper has went on several vacations with just us, Florida, Austin, Dallas... and we always have the best time together.
We have been to so many sporting events, awards assemblies, school functions, getting ready for dances and banquets.. and I can say without a doubt in my mind that Brandon was more excited than me at times for the next softball game, basketball game, and now golf tournaments.
I also want to throw in how much Pipie loves Kennedy. Those two are such goofballs. Kennedy is always telling Piper, "you my best friend". And we know that although she is only 2 years old now she will still be saying "Pipie you my best friend" when she's 20 years old. Pipie will be a best friend to her forever.
I thank God for Piper and Brandon and how close they are. Its truly amazing having a husband that loves my little sister they way he does and a little sister that looks up to my husband the way she does.
Love you both!

Now for a few words from your big buddy (ken is his little buddy)...

The hat.

Lil Mol

Day 9
Today you'll hear from Mollie. Baby Mol. The movies, the cherry berry dates, the late nights outside  shooting fireworks or playing basketball at the old house, the dance competitions, the Tiger football games, the trips to the beach.. I could go on and on with all the memories we have with Mol. Brandon met Mollie when she was almost 9 years old. Mollie is very soft hearted and sweet, very similar to Brandon. Brandon and Mollie can be kind to anyone they meet. Mollie adores kids and like I've mentioned before Brandon loves being around kids as well. These two have always gotten along like total friends. We recently moved Mollie into her apartment and although Mollie thanked us over and over (he did most the work) it was honestly absolutely no big deal to Brandon. Thats what brothers do he said. I love that Mollie knows she can rely on Brandon and that he is always there for her. She's definitely a "little sister" to Brandon. And now not only a little sister to us both, but a loving, kind, fun Aunt Mol to Kennedy. Mollie says all the time that Kennedy is her favorite little person ever.. and I think anyone would've guessed that judging by how many pictures were hanging in her room at college. It was a shrine to Kennedy. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Brandon has said multiple times what a lucky little girl Kennedy is to have my sisters. I completely agree. I'm hoping and praying maybe one day Kennedy will get Aunt Mollie as her teacher  ( :
We love baby Mol to the moon. And I love how much she loves my Brandon.

Now for a few words from Mollie.

To the brother I've always wanted:

First of all happy Father's Day and happy birthday you old fart. I grew up with 4 amazing, crazy, outgoing sisters and part of me always wanted a brother. My wish came true when Lacey met you and I couldn't have been any happier. First of all, I saw how unbelievably happy my sister was with you and second of all you became a brother to me. I love how goofy you are and I don't think there's a second where you don't make me laugh, although sometimes it is rather odd when you and Lacey act like cats.

I compiled a list of reasons why I think you're cool so here it is:

#1. You created my favorite human in the world (sweet little Kennedy)
#2. You're pretty much Tiger Woods
#3. You give my dad a taste of his own medicine
#4. You laugh at my jokes even when they aren't funny
#5. Your accents are endless
#6. You let me join in on dates with you and Lacey when I was younger, heck you still do now
#7. You like Fuzzys as much as me...if not more

I could go on and on, but most importantly you're the brother I never had and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Kennedy is one special little girl to call you her dad, Lacey is one special woman to call you her husband, and I'm one special girl to call you my brother in law.

Happy birthday B dawg! Love ya!

-Mollie
